Perspective
After reading an interview of Naina Lal Kidwai - country head of HSBC India I was struck by the absence of reference to customers , the way in which Hsbc seeks to touch the lives of customers.
This syncs with the experiences I've had with the world's local bank in the past few years as a retail customer. And possibly explains it !

Check out complaintsboard for complaints for these banks. Behind those media campaigns you will find quite a callous state.
They just don't care. Their focus is on companies which give them salary accounts. Once you snare a thousand or two thousand employees, they are yours.
The entire pain is realized only when you move out and are on your own unaffiliated with any company - or if you are a small
business.
You need to go to a bank that cares about having you as a
customer....dont ask me to name one though.
